During the weeks of Lent we embrace the sorrowful mystery of Christ’s death, knowing we are always journeying toward rebirth.

Dear Jesus,
Throughout these desolate forty days,
our faith in you
grows buds of hope
that we know will soon unfold
because you’ve never failed
to return to us,
never failed to surround the altar
with white lily after white lily,
an abundance of sunrise and beauty.
Act
Who in your life is feeling spring will never come to their hearts again? Offer this prayer of hope for them.
